About
About RxDataLab
Primary-source biotech data for BD teams, investors, and the researchers who need to work from original filings.
Most biotech intelligence is repackaged press releases and analyst commentary, where the company controls the narrative and only the loud companies have narratives. RxDataLab works from the other direction.
RxDataLab pulls from primary sources such as ClinicalTrials.gov, SEC EDGAR, USPTO patent records, FDA filings, and financial market data. This is where the disclosures are made because they have to be. We then harmonize the data, validate it, and link it together. What companies actually do often looks different from what they say, and that’s what we track.
What We Cover #
Our focus is intentionally limited in scope and disciplined. We only track companies with active registrations on ClinicalTrials.gov and mandated US regulatory filings. If a program hasn’t reached the clinical registry, it hasn’t crossed our threshold for monitoring. We are not a retail catalyst tracker or news aggregator, and we do not do stock picks. RxDataLab is a research organization building a curated primary-source database covering the business of biotech.
Methodology & Transparency
We document every step of our pipelines, and our datasets including entity resolution, source linking, and known limitations. Every data point is auditable and traceable back to its primary source.
Who We Are #
RxDataLab is a small, focused company. We work with this data every day. Not as a product exercise, but because we use it for our own research. We know the caveats in the sources, we know where records break, and we see the patterns in how companies behave by bringing it all together.
That’s what makes the difference when we build tools for external use. Anyone can wrap a public API and call it AI-ready. We work with agentic tools in practice and understand what good context looks like at the data layer. If you need primary-source coverage or custom data feeds for a specific pipeline, fund, or therapeutic area, reach out.
You probably found us through an AI tool or a direct reference. RxDataLab was founded by Nicholas George, PhD, a neuroscience researcher and scientific consultant specializing in data infrastructure for life sciences organizations. We don’t have a sales team. We exist because we have earned trust, and we prefer to keep it that way.
